Sixty works including oils and preparatory drawings to learn about one of the lesser known aspects of Fernando Botero: his relationship with the eternal and with religion.
“Fernando Botero: Via Crucis,” a true spiritual testament, the first posthumous exhibition of one of the most important contemporary artists.
The exhibition produced by Next Exhibition, in collaboration with Associazione Culturale Dreams, with curatorship by Glocal Project and ONO arte, is also an opportunity to bring into dialogue two important international museum venues: the Museum of Antioquia – where the collection comes from – and the Museo della Permanente, which has always been a unique cultural hub, a favorite meeting point for artists, merchants and men of culture.
