MONET AND THE IMPRESSIONISTS

An immersive multisensory experience to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the first Impressionist exhibition.

The exhibition “Monet and the Impressionists - Digital Experience” opens in the heart of Rome to celebrate 150 years since the first Impressionist exhibition, held in 1874 in the Paris studio of the photographer Nadar.
Videomapping, virtual reality, photo opportunities, didactic area and the incredible novelty of the use of Artificial Intelligence.
The over one thousand four hundred square metres of exhibition space are divided into different areas that follow a simple narrative, suitable for the whole family, always pursuing the goal of eduntainment, i.e. educating by entertaining.

From an analysis of Impressionism and the en plein air technique to projections of the works of its greatest exponents linked by the theme of the passing of time and the seasons.

The visitor learns about artistic and technological curatorial aspects, while images dance on the walls and floor, in a year-long journey through the Impressionists’ most significant landscape works: the delicate colours of Spring, the bright, warm tones of Summer, the oranges of Autumn and the cold colour range of Winter.
